In the last few months, VIP Voice Services has invested significant time and resources in product development. One of the motivating factors is that the Voice Services industry now has the ability to offer 99.9999% uptime and VIP would like to raise our standard to this new benchmark. This uptime capability, as well as features that provide more granular and robust disaster routing, are some of the key reasons VIP has decided to transition our clients to this newer technology that will provide greater stability and redundancy.

  1. How will this affect my company’s day to day operations?
    Your daily operations will not experience any interruption of service or not recognize any noticeable change. Your management system will need to be updated and your voicemail recordings may need to be refreshed but business communications will continue without interruption.
  2. Will my service experience be any different?
    Your business will not notice a recognizable change with the exception of stability and reliability. Your company’s ability to be redundant and stable in the case of a service outage will be even more dependable and robust. VIP is constantly developing new and innovative technology to provide the best quality, most resilient and strongest support structure in the industry.
  3. What is required for this migration?
    To transition our clients to this better platform, each customer will need to sign a new Letter of Authorization (LOA), thereby authorizing VIP to move each client from one platform to another. This is a common practice in the industry and a legal requirement that keeps clients informed regarding their service and avoid pirating or “slamming” of phone numbers or services.
